Dr. Joowon Cho
After moving to Austin from South Korea as a teenager, I grew up in the area and attended Westwood High School as well as the University of Texas at Austin. During my first year in college I got braces, which changed my life. Growing up I had always been conscious of my crooked teeth, and I tried to hide them with my upper lip. Because of this, sadly, I do not have many smiling childhood pictures. However, with the help of my orthodontist, I gained confidence and began to smile. This experience made me dream of becoming a dentist so I could impact other people’s lives as well.
